Atty. Amador L. “Badong” Simando is the founding partner of Simando Law, bringing over 40 years of distinguished legal experience and public service to the firm. A native of Garchitorena, Camarines Sur, Atty. Simando’s remarkable journey in law began at the University of Nueva Caceres School of Law, where he was a consistent scholar and graduated cum laude in 1980. That same year, he ranked 12th place in the highly competitive Philippine Bar Examinations, establishing his reputation as one of the top legal minds of his generation.
Atty. Simando was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1981 and began his private legal practice, where he quickly became known for his integrity, dedication, and commitment to making legal services accessible, especially to underserved communities.
In 1994, he ran for a congressional seat representing the Partido District (now 4th District) of Camarines Sur. Although he did not win, he remained committed to public service, and in 2013, he was successfully elected Board Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Camarines Sur, where he served two terms, from 2013 to 2019. During his tenure, Atty. Simando headed the Local Sanggunian’s Special Committee on Administrative Cases.
Throughout his career, Atty. Simando has garnered numerous accolades, including being named Most Outstanding Alumnus of the University of Nueva Caceres in 2015, recognizing his contributions as a Bar Topnotcher, Elected Director of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and Elected Board Member of Camarines Sur.
